CLMP LIT MAG MARATHON WEEKEND
Held each summer in New York City
At the June 2005 showing of this annual event, sponsored by the Council of Literary Magazines & Presses, Ms. Parker represented Other Voices literary magazine and its book imprint, OV Books. Ms. Parker read a selection from Other Voices 42 during the "Magathon" reading on Saturday, June 4th, at the New York Public Library; on Sunday, June 5th, nearly 60 copies of Other Voices were sold at the Lit Mag Fair to benefit CLMP and Housing Works, a non-profit that supports homeless people living with AIDS.
